Every alumni has a unique story, and for Dan, his journey with the Stoughton Area School District has come full circle in a remarkable way. After graduating from SASD, Dan earned his psychology degree from UW–Eau Claire, spending his college summers working back home alongside the district's buildings and grounds team. After starting out providing Windows 95 support, a tip from a former high school exchange classmate led him back to his roots—officially joining the SASD staff on August 14, 1996. For decades, Dan has built a continuous career in technology, keeping the district connected and running smoothly as SASD's network engineer. Outside of work, Dan enjoys curling in the winter, unwinding in the summer, and traveling! He has visited Germany, France, Austria, Norway, Spain, and Switzerland!

It is only right to spotlight Dan this month as he celebrates his 30th year working with the Stoughton Area School District.
